1. Who Operates the Website

The Website is operated by Anthara Labs (“Anthara Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a student and alumni-led venture studio dedicated to prototyping and validating practical technologies for campus mobility, infrastructure, and community needs.

2. Interest Validation & Proposal Development Only

The Website, including the Western E-Scooter Pilot page and the associated student-interest voting forms, is published solely for student-interest validation and proposal development purposes.

By submitting your name, email, student ID, or other feedback through this campaign, you are registering your support for a proposed micromobility pilot program. You are participating in a feasibility study and interest aggregation campaign designed to help us build a proposal for local authorities.

3. No Scooter Service or Operations Provided

Anthara Labs is not currently operating shared e-scooters, renting scooters, selling rides, accepting payments, or conducting commercial passenger transport operations. No scooters are being deployed or operated through this Website.

Any future deployment of shared e-scooters under the Western E-Scooter Pilot project is subject to obtaining appropriate approvals, municipal and university licenses, comprehensive liability insurance, safety controls, and compliance with all provincial, municipal, and institutional rules.

4. No University or Municipal Affiliation

The Western E-Scooter Pilot is an independent advocacy initiative organized by Anthara Labs. It is not officially affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Western University (the University of Western Ontario), the City of London, or any municipal or provincial public authority.

We do not claim or imply that any shared scooter operation has been approved or authorized by university or city officials. Shared e-scooters are not currently permitted to operate on public property or campus grounds in London, Ontario unless explicit authorization is granted by respective administrators.

5. No Guarantees of Pilot Launch or Service

Anthara Labs provides no guarantee, representation, or warranty that the Western E-Scooter Pilot will be approved, launched, or made available. We make no commitments regarding potential pricing, operating routes, hub locations, vehicle availability, speed caps, or geofencing parameters.

6. User Submissions & Accuracy

If you submit information through our interest forms (such as your name, student ID number, and email address), you agree to provide accurate, truthful, and complete information. You must only submit your own details and represent your own interest. The submission of false data, automated script submissions, or third-party details without consent is strictly prohibited and will result in exclusion from our aggregated analysis.

7. Acceptable Use Rules

By accessing the Website, you agree to engage with the interest validation forms and pages in good faith. Specifically, you agree not to submit spam, register multiple duplicate votes, or spoof email domains. You must not attempt to disrupt, scan, or test the vulnerability of our security systems, use scrapers, bots, or automated extractors to crawl our Website, or impersonate any other student, alumnus, faculty member, or individual.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All materials on this Website—including logo concepts, layout grids, graphic schematics, text, code, icons, and diagrams—are owned by Anthara Labs or our licensors and are protected under Canadian and international copyright and trademark laws. You may view and download pages for personal, non-commercial caching purposes only.

9. Third-Party Links & Services

Our Website may contain links to third-party sites, surveys, or services (such as Instagram or Discord) that are not operated by Anthara Labs. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or terms of third-party networks.

10. No Advice

Any information on this Website regarding municipal by-laws, transport guidelines, or safety protocols is for general informative purposes only and does not constitute formal legal, safety, regulatory, or transportation advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Anthara Labs, its founders, partners, advisors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, this Website or the aggregated analysis of student interest data.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in London, Ontario, Canada.

13. Modifications to the Website & Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Website, the interest campaign, or these Terms at any time without notice.
